God has greatly blessed our local and missionary work. Brother Rey David Aguilar Gordillo has worked throughout the state of Chiapas, the southern Mexico-Guatemala border and southeastern Mexico, Campeche and Yucatan, and the capital city of Guatemala. He and others established approximately 22 churches and helped in the spiritual edification of all those in Chiapas. South of Chiapas, they almost have a church in every city and town and continue strengthening all the churches. Each of the preachers that he has prepared serve as ministers in each of these congregations.
He established a lectureship for preachers in the coastal area of Chiapas. Each year for the past 20 years, Brother Rey David Aguilar Gordillo preached at large gospel meeting campaign that was held in Campeche, Mexico with an attendance of 600 to 1000 people with an average number of 20 to 30 baptisms. He has preached in many evangelistic campaigns, in Mexico City and other cities.
In 2011, David Calvert, an elder of the Culpeper church of Christ, invited Brother Rey David Aguilar Gordillo to preach in a Hispanic campaign, and he evangelized from house to house every day of his stay with the Culpeper congregation.
